Assessment Process
1. Discovery. Understand business objectives, known concerns, material flows, systems, organizational structure, and available information.
2. Data Review. Review relevant inventory, procurement, supplier, asset, procedure, and performance data.
3. Field Assessment. Where appropriate, perform site observations, spot verification, interviews, and workflow tracing.
4. Analysis. Evaluate control, performance, risk, and opportunity.
5. Reporting. Deliver an executive summary, current state, findings, recommendations, priority matrix, and implementation roadmap.
Priority Framework
Priority 1 — Critical: prompt management attention due to significant operational, financial, schedule, compliance, or accountability exposure.
Priority 2 — Important: materially affects efficiency, cost, control, or performance and should be addressed through planned action.
Priority 3 — Improvement: opportunity to strengthen processes, simplify work, or enhance performance.
